New autokitchen® 9.
Thank you autokitchen® users! Many of the new features in autokitchen® 9 came from your feedback and input! autokitchen® 9 will enhance design flexibility for the custom cabinet designer, while remaining user-friendly. New features include the ability to modify multiple cabinets at once; new custom cabinet modifications; new commands to print elevations, create mechanical plans and open cabinet doors; and a hand-drawn effect.

Microcad Software is pleased to announce that autokitchen® has been chosen by NKBA as a software option for candidates taking their certification exams. Beginning with the September 2008 exams, NKBA will permit candidates the option of taking an exam using the traditional paper and pencil hand drafting approach or using a modified CAD program.

Microcad Software releases autokitchen® 7.5.
The new PRO version of the popular kitchen and bath design software autokitchen® includes some exciting new functions, such as the ability to create and store custom shapes that can be placed in any design and converted into objects. The cabinetry, appliance, and architectural objects catalogs have been expanded in autokitchen® PRO 7.5. autokitchen® 7.5 report functions have been dramatically enhanced with a new project list application, Estimate 4, which tracks cabinet modifications and cabinet options easily from the design to the automated reports generated by the software.
In addition to the PRO version, Microcad Software has also released an updated version of autokitchen® Studio.
Microcad Software creates 3D software program for Bristol and Bath.
Microcad Software and Bristol and Bath have created a design program that allows bathroom professionals to place and specify Bristol and Bath bathroom furniture products in a 3D environment. The concept was tested by kitchen and bath professionals in fall 2006 and the first pilot licenses of the software are being released in spring 2007.
